Description	:	Marguerite "Maggie" Labrie, 78, of Redfield, S.D. and formerly of Doland, S.D. died August 19, 2003 at Beverly Healthcare Center in Redfield, S.D. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, August 23, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Doland. Fr. Dan Wolfgram will officiate. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery in Huron at 1:30 p.m. Visitation will be Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Scriptural Wake service Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. all at Thelen Funeral Home. Maggie was born July 26, 1925 in Verdon, S.D. to George and Anna Mae (Conley) Pembroke. She graduated from Turton High School in 1944. She married Dale M. Labrie on November 16, 1949 in Turton, S.D. They lived and farmed north of Doland until their health forced them to move to Huron, S.D. In 1999, Maggie moved to Beverly Healthcare in Redfield where she resided until the time of her death. Maggie was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Doland, the American Legion Auxiliary and VFW and took part in the Square Dance Club. She also worked at the Doland Times Record for many years. She enjoyed helping with the farm and spending time with her family. Maggie is survived by two daughters: Jacie (Jerry) Schley of Stratford, S.D. and Joni (Bill) Nedved of Huron, S.D.; and one son Kevin (Julie) Labrie of Huron, S.D.; eight grandchildren: Mike Lerew, Jon Lerew, Dustin Schley, Haylee Schley, Jesse Karlsen, Bret Karlsen, Fred Baum and Brandon Jenson; and seven great-grandchildren: Nicki Rasmussen, Nate Rasmussen, Deidre Lerew, Preston Lerew, Kayla Lerew and Noel Lerew. Maggie is also survived by two sisters: LaVerne Hausvik of Huron, S.D. and Vera Pillen of Nebraska; and one brother: Robert Pembroke of Mobridge, S.D. She is preceded in death by her husband Dale in 2000, one daughter Ramona Lerew, one grandson Patrick Lerew, her parents, one brother Leonard Penbroke and one sister Lucille Nazro.
