Born in Back Bay on June 25, 1931, she was a daughter of the late George and Cora (Cook) Matheson. A loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband; one son, Garren and his wife, Catherine of Bridgewater, Maine; one daughter, Deanna, Mrs. William Luevano of Back Bay; four grandchildren, Nathaniel Hanley, Celesté Hanley, CHEYANNE HANLEY and Amaelia Luevano; two brothers, Ernest Matheson and his wife, Florence and Arthur Leslie and his wife Belva, both of Back Bay; three sisters, Nellie Matheson, Erma, Mrs. Sam Mitchell and Hilda, Mrs. Ronald Hanley, all of Back Bay; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by five brothers, Gerald, Henry, Peter, Kenneth and Frederick. Marguerite was a member of Shiloh Tabernacle in Saint John, NB. She loved to crochet and, other than her immediate family, she was a mother image to her large extended family. Resting at Sea View Full Gospel Church in Back Bay, NB from where the service will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Donald McCarty and Rev. Wayne Matheson officiating. Interment in the St. George Rural Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives at the church on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Charlotte County Cancer Society or the Extra Mural Program would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the St. George Funeral Home, 26 Portage Street, St. George, NB, (755-3533).
