MARIAH MULDROW DIES News was received here Saturday of the death of Mrs. Mariah Muldrow at the home of her son in Crawfofd county, Mo., the preceding day. The remains were brought here Sunday and taken to the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. Troy Pierce, west of town. Monday they were laid to rest in the Oak Ridge church yard, after appropriate services conducted at the church by the Rev. C. H. Werner. Mariah E. .Forman was born April 25th, 1835, in Ralls county, Mo., and passed to her eternal reward on January 24th [sic]. In 1855 she was married to Wm. E. Muldrow, and they removed to Shelby county, where they resided for more than fifty years. Judge Muldrow died about 17 years ago. To their union were born seven children, three of whom died in infancy. The four surviving are Mrs. Anna Taylor, Milton T. Muldrow and Ben F. Muldrow all of Bourbon, Mo, and John R. Muldrow of Perry, Mo. All were at her bedside during her last illness and all accompanied her remains here except Mrs. Taylor who was too ill to make the trip. Deceased was a woman of strong character and loveable disposition. She united with the Presbyterian church in early life, but on moving to Shelby county, she placed her membership in the M.
