Description	:	Marie (Mamie) Ziegelbein (As printed in the Polk Progress 6-30-1949) Miss Marie (Mamie) Ziegelbein, 62, of York, passed away last week at the Veterans hospital in Lincoln where she had been hospitalized since January 1. She had been in failing health the past five years. Miss Ziegelbein was born in Johnson county, Missouri Dec. 31, 1886. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ziegelbein, who made their home in Polk county for many years. The deceased was a trained nurse and served at Camp Funston, Kas., during world war I. She had been in failing health the past five years. Miss Ziegelbein was born in Johnson county, Missouri Dec. 31, 1886. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ziegelbein, who made their home in Polk county for many years. The deceased was a trained nurse and served at Camp Funston, Kas., during world war I. She had been a resident of York since 1915. After the death of her mother in 1930, she made her home with her father in York. Surviving areher father, now a patient at the Bailey Sanitarium in Lincoln; two sisters, Mrs. T.A. Wunderlich of Elgin, Ill., and Mrs. P.C. Pyne of Maywood, Ill., and three brothers, William, Polk; Arthur, Elgin, Ill., and Edgar, Lincoln. Funeral services were held at 1:45 o'clock Thursday at the Metz chapel and at two o'clock at Emmanuel Lutheran church in York. Rev. H. Hopann officiated. Burial was in Emmanuel Lutheran cemetery in Polk. Note:The date of birth differ from the printed obituary and the Headstone. The date of birth listed is from the headstone.
