F.H. Kehren. Burial will be at Wayne Zion. Mary Otten Dirks was born in Germany, August 31, 1866, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Otten. She came to the United States in 1885 and made her home in Iowa. On June 25, 1886, she was married to John H. Dirks and they lived in this vicinity until 43 years ago when they moved to Longmont, Colorado. Mr. Dirks preceded his wife in death in 1923. Three children also preceded their mother in death. Surviving are her children, D. John Dirks, Scotch Grove; Otto Dirks, Toledo, Oregon; Henry Dirks, Fred Dirks, Herman Dirks and William Dirks, all of Longmont, Colo., and one daughter Grace, Mrs. Lee Thorne, also of Longmont. Also surviving are one brother Otto Otten of amber, 28 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will include Otto Englebart, Bob Wroblewski, John Otten, William Otten, Harm Harms and John Monk. The Goettsch funeral home has charge of the arrangements
