Description	:	Mrs. Maria McConoughey died at the Sanitarium South of Red Oak, January 22 of pneumonia. She had been in poor health for several months and when she took pneumonia she only lived a few days. Her son Eli was with her the week she died. She was 76 years and 6 months of age and was one of the old settlers here, having lived on a farm one mile east of Grant while her husband was living. Read More	Mrs. Maria McConoughey died at the Sanitarium South of Red Oak, January 22 of pneumonia. Alonzo was unable to attend the funeral which was held at the Methodist Church Saturday. Deceased was a member of Grant Circle No. 7, Ladies of the G.A.R.. The ritual was conducted at the grave.
