On Sep 2, 1948 she married Richard Donald Groves, who preceded her in death. Surviving are two sons: Dale L. (Juanita) Roessler and Richard (Georgia) Groves, both Lima; a brother, Leonard (Sylvia), Waynesfield; two sisters: Mary Jo Butler, East Falmouth, MA, and Betty Stewart, Flat Rock, MI; a sister-in-law, Phyllis Fedele, Lima; fifteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Deceased are a son, Larry Eugene Groves; a grandson, Phillip Roessler; two brothers: Daryl and David; and a sister, Edna Arbogast. She retired after 25 years with Nichols Bakery. She attended the Lima Baptist Temple and was a life member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary 1275, Lima. She loved animals, reading, and enjoyed her plants. She adored her pet parrot "Baby" which was good at entertaining her. Funeral services are at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville, with the Rev. Leonard Roessler officiating.
