She moved to Omaha after high school with her best friend Sarah Rabb and sister Margie. Marian and Glenn, married 54 years, met in 1965 at a LaSalle Club softball game, and were married in 1966 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. She moved to Omaha after high school with her best friend Sarah Rabb and sister Margie. Marian and Glenn, married 54 years, met in 1965 at a LaSalle Club softball game, and were married in 1966 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. A devoted Catholic, Marian was a member of the St. Joan of Arc Parish for over 50 years and participated in perpetual adoration for more than 30 years while also volunteering for school lunch and funeral committees. She worked in bookkeeping for Sears & Roebuck and then for Corporate Express where she retired in 2003. Marian enjoyed playing cards with her bridge club. She also enjoyed summer vacations in Minnesota fishing when the children were younger and in South Dakota where they owned a place later in life.
