Description	:	BRITTAIN, Marian “Wilma” – 67, of Forest Glen, Yarmouth Co., passed away peacefully with family by her side on August 26, 2012, at her son’s home. Born October 16, 1944 in Argyle, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Louise (Lyle) Frost. Wilma worked at Harris’ Quick & Tasty restaurant in Dayton for several years. She loved working outside in her garden and on her lawn and was known for keeping a spotless and clean home. She enjoyed cooking and preparing meals for family and friends. Read More	BRITTAIN, Marian “Wilma” – 67, of Forest Glen, Yarmouth Co., passed away peacefully with family by her side on August 26, 2012, at her son’s home. Born October 16, 1944 in Argyle, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Louise (Lyle) Frost. Wilma worked at Harris’ Quick & Tasty restaurant in Dayton for several years. She loved working outside in her garden and on her lawn and was known for keeping a spotless and clean home. She enjoyed cooking and preparing meals for family and friends. She loved her family and animals. She always looked forward to going four-wheeling with her husband to pick cranberries in the fall. She was a generous person and always ready to help and give to all. Her homemade quilts were beautiful and she had quilted for many people. She will be missed by all. She is survived by husband of 47 years, Prescott Brittain; son, Tony (April) Brittain; daughter, Lois (Lloyd) Butler; sisters, Barbara (Elmer) Ryerson, Carol Pope and Audrey MacDonald; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, James and Leroy Frost. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home & Crematorium, Yarmouth. A memorial service was held on Wednesday, August 29 at 2 p.m. from Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel; Rev. Michael Cannell officiated. Interment followed in Forest Glen Cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Donations in Wilma’s memory may be made to Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia. The family would like to extend their gratitude to April Dewolfe for the care and compassion she has provided.
