Marianne was united in marriage to Delwyn Evans in 1970, following his passing in 1991; Marianne was united in marriage to Robert Farrar on October 28, 1994 in Muscatine, Iowa. Marianne had worked for Schmarje as a tool and die operator, then worked for HON Company, from where she retired after 26 years. She was a member of the Women of the Moose for 35 years and also the Bloomington Friends Church. She enjoyed traveling with her husband on the AMTRAK, going to casinos and most of all spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids. Marianne will be deeply missed by her husband, Robert of Muscatine; two step-children, Darrin Farrar and his wife, Cherie of Des Moines and Dena Farrar of Alabama; three children, Sandi Maylone and her husband Fred of Fruitland, Randy Curry of Muscatine, and Tammy Fisher and her husband, Larry of Memphis, Tennessee; six grandchildren, Eric(Barb)Townsend, Shane(Candi)Townsend, Joshua(Carine)Townsend, Candance Schluer, Seth Shoemaker, and Chad Shoemaker; three step-grandchildren, Logan,Colton and Reese Farrar; eight great-grandchildren, Betsy McDonald, Reagan and Ryan Townsend, Cole Townsend, RayAnn Snyder, Drake and Drea Townsend, and Kyle Schluer; five brothers, Larry Snyder of Blue Grass, Gary Snyder of Fruitland, Bob Snyder of Des Moines, John Snyder of Muscatine, and Walter Snyder of Macon, Missouri; five sisters, Sharon Hunt of Muscatine, Janet Mairet of Keosauqua, Mary Bragg of Muscatine, Gayle Snyder of Mt. Pleasant, and Kathy Snyder of Macon, Missouri. Marianne was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Delwyn in 1991; three brothers, Richard, Melvin, and Donald and one sister, Margaret Snyder.
