Read More	Klinker, Marie Amanda (1885 - 1981) from Huebner Funeral Home, Denison, Iowa Marie Amanda Klinker was born on May 7, 1885 in Goodrich Township, Crawford County, Iowa, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Maack. She died on Friday evening, February 20, 1981 at Eventide Lutheran Home,Denison, Iowa at the age of 95. Marie spent her early years on a family farm. She received her formal education in the rural schools near her home. Marie was baptized and later confirmed in the Lutheran faith. On February 22, 1912, Marie was united in marriage to Herman C. Klinker. Todgether they made their home on the Maack home place. Later they purchased the farm from her mother. In 1945, they retired and moved to Denison. Mr. Klinker died in 1978 and since that time, Marie has continued to make her at Eventide Lutheran Home. Marie was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and a long time member of Zion Ladies Aid. In addition to her parents and her husband, Marie was preceded in death by one son, one daughter, four brothers and three sisters. Survivors include, two sons, Herbert of Denison and Walter of Missouri Valley, Iowa, and one dauaghter, Mrs.Arlene Hennings of Ricketts, also by sixteen grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Monday, February 23, 1981 at 10:30 A.M. at the Zion Lutheran Church, Denison, Iowa. Burial was in the Morgan Cemetery near Schleswig. The Rev. Jack Heck officiated at the services. Pallbearers included, George Maack, Ray Henningsen, Peter Pickel, Leonard Wiegel, Sam Bran and Richard Dorale.
