Description	:	Marie Belle Davison was born Marie Belle Rose in Woodland, Iowa on April 22, 1932, and passed away at the Mt Ayr Health Center, Mt. Ayr, Iowa on April 13, 2022. She was one of six children, all born at home to Augustus Dow and Freda Hazel (Tolly) Rose. Marie graduated from Garden Grove High School in 1949 and lettered in basketball. Ayr, Iowa on April 13, 2022. She was one of six children, all born at home to Augustus Dow and Freda Hazel (Tolly) Rose. Marie graduated from Garden Grove High School in 1949 and lettered in basketball. She was married to William "Bill" Davison in Humeston, Iowa in 1950. That union brought forth three children, Eddy Wayne, Jody Dean, and Cheryl Ann. Marie was a devoted wife and mother. She and Bill owned and operated the By-Lo Food Store in Humeston from 1966-1980. After selling the store, Bill and Marie enjoyed traveling by car and train to visit their son, Eddy, in Phoenix, Arizona. She loved Arizona so her home resembled an Arizona museum of paintings, cactus, turquoise and quartz rocks and a wall of beautiful Native American artifacts. Marie loved to travel, especially the Southwest, crossing America by rail where she could see land, mountains and desert. Even in her senior years, she had an adventurous heart that longed to see the landscape of new and exciting places. Marie moved in with daughter and son-in-law, Cheri and Robert Jensen, in 2007, and lived with them until March 21, 2022, when she moved to the Mt Ayr Health Center. Marie had a special relationship with all of her grandchildren and was very close to them. She and her grandson, Billy, shared a deep love and passion for sports. When her husband, Bill, passed, she took the knowledge of sports she gained from Bill and her brothers and shared all of her massive knowledge of sports with Billy. She shared her love of animals along with cat rescue missions with granddaughter, Cheyenne, and shared her love of gardening/cooking with Cassidy. Marie also shared her love of travel with granddaughter, Jackie, and explored the southwest with her. She and Bill raised their son Jody's daughter, Jessica, from the time she was 12 years old and she maintained that devoted relationship with Jessica all of her life. She also spent time in Arizona with granddaughters Misty, Ciara and their children. Marie was 89 years old and passed nine days before her 90th birthday. She was preceded in death by her mother, Freda Rose; father, Gus Rose; husband, William Davison; son, Jody Davison; great grandson, Jacob Storm; siblings and their spouses, L.D. (Ruthie) Rose, Robert (Donna) Rose, Clifford (Marlene) Rose, Gladys Marr, and Jean (Louie) O'Brien, and parents-in-law, Albert and Osa Davison. Left to honor her memory are her son, Eddy Davison; daughter, Cheri Jensen and husband, Robert; close family friend, Tricia Boyd; grandchildren, MistyMarie Davison, Ciara Davison, Jackie Storm, Cassidy Storm (Michael Cone), Cheyenne Storm (Tyler Watkins), Billy (Imani) Storm, Danielle Davison, and Josh Davison; several great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews, Troy (Kelly) Nielson, Vanessa Davis, Todd (Deborah) Rose, Missy Rose, Kim (Gary) Hysell, Pam (John) May, and Ron (Stacy) Rose, and their families. Also, step-grandson and wife, William and Jamie Jensen and their children, Alexis, Kendra, Dylynn, and Kanyon. Marie has now taken her final journey on the Heaven bound express to the Promised Land and we are all grateful for the abundance of time God gave us to spend with her.
