She was married to Hero Christien Stoffers March 14, 1904 at .....Oldenburg, Germany. They came to the United States in .....and settled in Wayne township to farm. Mr. Stoffers preceded her in death on March 3, 1879. She is survived by three sons, Fred, Alwin and Walter all of Anamosa and 1 step grandson, Also a brother Henry Tjaden of Martelle and a step Sister Mrs. Rehabilst of Clinton. Besides her husband she was preceded by both of her parents, three brothers and two sister. The services were held at the Wayne Zion Lutheran Church on Friday November 17 at 1 p.m. with the Rev. .......officiating. Interment was in the Wayne Church cemetery.
