She died at the home of her daughter, Mrs Jake Pope at Haxton, Colorado, November 7, 1934. She was married to George Green December 26, 1873. They came to America in 1875. To this union were born nine children. Her husband and four children preceded her in death. The five children, who are living are, Mrs John Pope and Phillip Green of Sutton, Nebraska; John Green of Hastings, Nebr.; Mrs Jake Pope of Haxtun, Colorado and Mrs Jim Woodhead of Edgar. She was married to Henry Green in 1894. To this union were born two children, Mrs John Nolde of Denver, Colorado and Adam Green of Stratton, Colorado. Her husband preceeded (sic) her in death. She leaves her seven children, 26 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Mrs Green lived northeast of Edgar in the pioneer days, later moving to a farm near Sutton and later to Sutton where her home was at the time of her death. Funeral services were held at Sutton Sunday from the German Congregational church (sic) conducted by Rev Green of Harvard. Interment was made in the Sutton cemetery. Relatives attending from a distance were: Mr and Mrs John Nolde, Denver, Colo.; Mr and Mrs Sam Knudsen, Denver, Colo.; Mr and Mrs Jake Pope, Haxtun, Colo.; Mr and Mrs Jim Woodhead and children of Edgar; Mr and Mrs Herbert Fitchner of Cambridge, Mr and Mrs John Herberg, Mr and Mrs John Green and son, Mr and Mrs Charles Anders and family, Mr and Mrs George Boner and Mr and Mrs Harold Green of Hastings.
