On June 21, 1948, she married Allen Havens in Beaverton. June was a homemaker, living in Gladwin County her entire life. She loved to garden, hunt, do puzzles, and quilt. Left to cherish her memory are her husband: Allen Havens of Beaverton; children: Jerry (Ann) Havens of St. Louis; Diana (Ray) Stevens of Poulsbo, Washington; Beverly Havens of Beaverton; Ray (Mary) Havens of Coleman; Brenda Havens of Beaverton; Vicki (Brian) Winton of Midland; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sister: Margaret Pietras of Freeland; twin sister: Mae Covey of Overland, Kansas; sister-in-law: Bonnie McKimmy of Beaverton; numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; five brothers; five sisters. Memorial Services will be conducted by Pastor William Raymor on Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2015, 11 a.m. at the Beaverton Church of the Brethren, Beaverton. The family will receive friends on Monday, Feb. 9 from 3-7 p.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are to be made according to the wishes of the family. --------------------------------------------- Small tidbit of information which, was shared with me.
