She was 23 and he was 25 and a spinner in the mill. Lydia also worked in the mill in Ashland. They were married by Rev PJ McDonough in Ashland. They had children born in Ashland: Arlene T., Thelma P., Ronald M. Lawrence M., Alberta M., and Carlton M. Lydia died at age 60, at the Memorial Hospital in Plymouth, a resident of Thompson Street in Ashland NH, wife of Martin Abear. She died of a heart attack due to arteriosclerosis. She was buried Green Grove Cemetery in Ashland on May 10, 1957.
