Description	:	Marie Samantha Alderson, daughter of Milton and Susan Corbin Nickerson, was born on Sep. 19, 1904 at Dodge City, Kan. and passed away on June 4, 1985 at the Blue Valley Home in Hebron at the age of 80. Mrs. Alderson's foster parents were William and Mary Bonner. Marie graduated from the Herington High School at Herington, Kan. She was united in marriage to Lloyd J. Read More	Marie Samantha Alderson, daughter of Milton and Susan Corbin Nickerson, was born on Sep. 19, 1904 at Dodge City, Kan. and passed away on June 4, 1985 at the Blue Valley Home in Hebron at the age of 80. Mrs. Alderson's foster parents were William and Mary Bonner. Marie graduated from the Herington High School at Herington, Kan. She was united in marriage to Lloyd J. Alderson on May 27, 1922 and to this union three children were born, DeVern, Twyla and Arlys. Marie moved to Chester in 1935 and to Hebron in 1968. She was a member of the Church of Christ and the Christian Women's Fellowship of Chester. She was preceded in death by her parents, her foster parents, her husband Lloyd, a son DeVern, a daughter Twyla, one great-grandson Christopher Ballinger, two sisters and two brothers. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Arlys Dill and her husband, Bob of Belvidere, a son-in-law, Philip Palmer and wife, Rita of Big Spring, Texas, 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, one sister, several other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services were held at the Church of Christ in Chester on Friday, June 7, at 2 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Michael O'Donnell. Music was provided by Mrs. Wilbert Crouse and Mrs. Bruce Wilhelms and organist was Mrs. Frieda Truss. Casket bearers were Jack Dill, Mark Ballinger, Wilbert Crouse, Matt Dill, Glen McKnight and John Crouse. Burial was in Chester Cemetery.
