Read More	DROPS DEAD ON WAY FOR HELP AGED VILLISCA RESIDENT FOUND COLD IN DEATH ON WALK NEAR HER HOME WHERE SHE FELL HAD BEEN LIVING BY HERSELF DEATH ATTRIBUTED OT HEART TROUBLE, HAD LVIED HERE SIX YEARS, FUNERAL HELD TUESDAY Mrs. Nathan Bouge, a resident of Villisca for the last six years, was found death on the wold near her home on East Third Street at 2 o'clock Sunday morning with W. J. Eggleston, who had just reached his home a short distance away. He death was due to heart trouble. It is believed Mrs. Bouge who lived alone, had become ill and was on her way to the home of a neighbor for assistance. Clad only in her nightgown and nightcap and a shawl thrown over her shoulders, she started out with a lighted lantern, which attracted Mr. Egleston as he saw it fall over on the ground and almost go out, then straighten up and remain still. Mr. Egleston, after watching the light for s short time, went into his own home and was preparing for bed when his curiosity, which had already been aroused, became more insistent and he went out to make an investigation. Approaching the lantern, he found Mrs. Bouge lying beside it apparently dead and making no response when he lifted her hand. Medical assistance was summoned and life was found to be extinct. The body was returned to Mrs. Bouge's home, from where it was taken to the Fessler & Sutphen Funeral home to await the funeral. Marietta Brewer was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, November 10, 1847, Daughter of William Warren Brewer & Nancy Ann Seeley (b~1816 PA) She was 73 years old at her death. She came with her parents in early life to Iowa and united in marriage with Peter Amos Tuning in 1863. To this union were born 11 children, seven of whom are living. They are Mrs. Elizabeth A. Dempsey of San Diego, California, W. E. and H. F. Tuning of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Mrs. Della Torrence of Des Moines, Mrs. Sadie Sprott of Hillsboro, Iowa, Mrs. Ollie Ward of Kansas City, Missouri, and Walter Tunning of Des Moines. The husband died at the age of 56 years and on December 21, 1905, his widow as married to Natan Bouge in Mount Pleasant, Iowa. From there they moved to Iowa City where they made their home nine years, moving then to Corning, where they resided six years. About six years ago they came to Villisca. Mr. Bouge died here September 27, 1925, and since that time, Mrs. Bouge has continued to reside alone in the home he left. Mrs. Bouge was a member of the Baptist church from early childhood. Her funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at the Fessler & Sutphen Funeral Home with Rev. L. B. Carpenter in charge of services. The singing was by Mrs. F. E. Shane and Mrs. H. H. Nordyke with Mrs. F. S. Williams at the piano and the pall bearers were Carl Taylor, H. T. Bunker, S. C. Ashmore, Clyde Taylor, Wayne Spargur, and Gus Reynolds. Interment was in the Villisca Cemetery.
