Description	:	Marilyn Ann Schulte, age 85, passed away Monday, October 9, 2017 in Clear Lake, SD. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Holy Name of Jesus Church with Father Michael Wensing as celebrant and Father Jerome Holtzman as con-celebrant. Interment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Watertown. Visitation will be Friday, from 5-7:00 pm, followed with a scripture service and rosary at Holy Name of Jesus Church. Marilyn, the daughter of Hugh McCullough and Blanche (Freml) McCullough was born January 7, 1932 in Ida Grove, Iowa. Marilyn was one of thirteen children. Her family lived in Iowa, South Dakota, California and then back to South Dakota. Marilyn met Wilfred Schulte in Watertown and they were married on June 28,1952. They were blessed with eight children. She was one of the founding members of Holy Name of Jesus Church. Marilyn enjoyed the Tuesday morning coffee group, along with playing cards, reading and dancing. She loved serving others, sharing a cup of coffee with a baked goodie, and watching over her grandchildren. She was a friend to many, and she especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Marilyn and her beautiful smile was loved and will be missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Will; her siblings Matt, Mary, Bud, Lyle, Jack, Earl, Bob, Floyd and Lloyd McCullough. Marilyn is survived by her children, Gina (Tom) Diehl of Lake Poinsett, SD, Ron (Gay) Schulte of Centreville, VA, Dan (Jolene) Schulte of Lincoln, NE, Gerry (Ellyn) Schulte of Watertown, SD, Theresa (Jim) Flynn of Lino Lakes, MN, Kathy (Eric) Turbak of Kranzburg, SD, Janet (Rich) Coplan of Brookings, SD and Patty (John) Sneden of Watertown, SD; 30 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Kathy Link, William (Sharon) McCullough and Marie Ranfranz; and two sisters-in-law, Esther McCullough and Betty McCullough.
