Description	:	NEGLEY -Mrs. Marilynn Dickey, 81, of 50508 North Front St., passed away at 4:05 p.m. Sunday at her residence following a lengthy illness. Marilynn was born July 6, 1923, in New Brighton, Pa., a daughter of the late Merritt and Alice Nicely Carson, and had resided in the Negley area since 1948. She had been employed as a designer at the former Wolz Florist, East Palestine, as well as a sales representative with Avon.. Read More	NEGLEY -Mrs. Marilynn Dickey, 81, of 50508 North Front St., passed away at 4:05 p.m. Sunday at her residence following a lengthy illness. Marilynn was born July 6, 1923, in New Brighton, Pa., a daughter of the late Merritt and Alice Nicely Carson, and had resided in the Negley area since 1948. She had been employed as a designer at the former Wolz Florist, East Palestine, as well as a sales representative with Avon.. She was a member of the Negley United Methodist Church, as well as the Mt. Zion Homemakers, and had also been active as a Camp Fire Leader for a number of years. She is survived by her husband, Don W. "PeeWee" Dickey, whom she married April 10, 1942; two daughters, Gretchen (Jim) Smith, North Richland Hills, Texas, and Cindy (Tim) Figley, East Palestine; and a son, Don W. "Skip" Dickey, Richardson, Texas; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A granddaughter, Dawn Rae Yenges; two brothers, Bud and Bob Carson, and a sister, Donna McLaughlin, preceded her in death. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Negley United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Charles Ready, officiating. Burial will be in Crest Haven Memorial Gardens, New Waterford.
