Thiesing Kemp, who preceded her in death. On Dec. 20, 1951, she married Zopher E. "Sonny" Blodgett, who died April 11, 2008. Mrs. Blodgett was a homemaker and had worked at St. Rita's Medical Center. Thiesing Kemp, who preceded her in death. On Dec. 20, 1951, she married Zopher E. "Sonny" Blodgett, who died April 11, 2008. Mrs. Blodgett was a homemaker and had worked at St. Rita's Medical Center. She would meet with her girlfriends from Lima South High School's class of 1950 on a regular basis. She was a founder and former member of the Children's Conservation League and the Parent Teacher Association at Horace Mann School. She was a block mother. She spent a lot of time with family and friends enjoying Indian Lake. She lived for her family and was a Christian. Survivors include two sons, Steven G. (Marie) Blodgett, of Columbus, and Dean A. Blodgett, of Lima; two daughters, Terry K. Blodgett, of Columbus, and Vicky L. (Robert) Stidham, of Lima; a daughter-in-law, Michelle Blodgett, of Lima; a brother, Guy Kemp, of Winter Haven, Fla.; and 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Kemp. Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Chiles-Laman Funeral Homes, Shawnee Chapel. Burial will be in St. Matthew Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.
