He attended Ohio University and was a member of Theta Chi fraternity. He was a car salesman most of his life in Lima and then transferred to the Columbus area. Born March 2, 1955 to the late "Sonny" Zopher and Marilyn (Kemp)Blodgett. He married Marie (DeMangeont) Blodgett December 16, 2003. Steven was a 1973 Lima Senior High graduate. Survivors include his wife Marie, five children, Erica Ridenour, Steven (Kellie) Blodgett, Laura Blodgett, Catherine Boroff, Aaron Blodgett; Seven grandchildren Brandon and Jenna Blodgett, Brandon Campbell, Roman Foster, Taylor, Parker, Peyton, Boroff. Additional survivors include his brother Dean Blodgett, sisters Terry Blodgett, and Vicky (Rob) Stidham. There will be no services. He will be buried next to his parents in St. Mathew's cemetery in Lima, Ohio.
