Marilyn passed away Sunday afternoon, August 23, 2015, at Avera St. Anthony’s Hospital in O’Neill. In Lieu of flowers, please send donations to the First United Methodist Church in O’Neill, NE. Marilyn was born on February 6, 1941, in O’Neill, NE, to Elmer and Eleanor (Sparks) Strong. She graduated from O’Neill High School. She then graduated from Norfolk Beauty College. She met Vernon Dee Passieux and they were married on September 11, 1960 at the United Methodist Church in O’Neill. They were married for 53 years before Vernon passed away in November of 2013. Marilyn worked at the O’Neill Nursing Center in Housekeeping. She was a member of the O’Neill United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Eleanor Strong, her husband Vernon, her brother Francis Gene Strong, Sister-In-Law Eula Mae Eppenbach Strong, Nieces; Lori Strong Polt and Pamela Strong Rawlins, and Great Niece Cammie Strong.
