Description	:	Funeral Services for Vernon Passieux, age 75, of O'Neill, will be at 10:30 A.M., Friday, November 29, 2013, at The United Methodist Church in O'Neill, with burial in the O'Neill Cemetery. Rev. Craig Collins will officiate. Visitation will be Thursday, November 28, 2013, from 6-8 P.M., with a 7:00 P.M. Prayer Service at Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill. Vernon was born on June 2, 1938,Boyd County town of Lynch, NE, to John and Clara (Waechter) Passieux. He graduated from O'Neill High School in 1956. On September 11, 1960, he married Marilyn Strong at the United Methodist Church in O'Neill. Vernon was an office manager for Shelhamer Equipment Company in O'Neill for 31 years. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in O'Neill. He loved to bowl, hunt, fish, and go camping and boating- anything outdoors. He was a past member of the O'Neill Junior Chamber of Commerce. Vernon was very active in church- he was an usher and also taught Sunday School. He is preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, Ray Passieux, 2 Sisters; Betty Green and Darlene Weinberger
