Mrs. Ratcliffe was born June 26, 1934 in Des Moines, IA to Cecil Charles and Lura Oleta (Kaestner) Driskill. She married Dr. Eldon Silvers Ratcliffe of Smith Center, KS on December 18, 1953; he preceded her in death on August 14, 1995. Mrs. Ratcliffe was born June 26, 1934 in Des Moines, IA to Cecil Charles and Lura Oleta (Kaestner) Driskill. She married Dr. Eldon Silvers Ratcliffe of Smith Center, KS on December 18, 1953; he preceded her in death on August 14, 1995. Survivors include one son, Sterling Silvers Ratcliffe of Liberty, MO; one daughter, Deborah Lee Webster of Minnetonka, MN; one brother and sister-in-law, Lyle and Kathy Driskill of Lamoni, IA; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Donna Tapscott of Lamoni, IA and Ferrell and Ralph McDaniel of TX; four grandchildren, Benjamin Denkinger, Andrew Denkinger, Adam Ratcliffe and Cody Ratcliffe; and two great-grandchildren, Vaughn and Beck Denkinger. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents. Mrs. Ratcliffe worked for many years for the Ray County Soil Conservation Department. She was a member of the Community of Christ Church in Richmond. She lived most of her life in Richmond. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond. Funeral services will be Monday, June 24, at 11:00 a.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home, Richmond, MO. Visitation will be Monday, June 24, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home, Richmond, MO. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Lamoni, IA, where graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Online condolences may be left on our website at www.thurmanfuneralhome.com.
