Description	:	Marilyn June Rayman Johnston, 83, of Lafayette, IN died at 8:12 a.m., on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at Mulberry Health Center. She was born in Lafayette to the late LoDema Harris Rayman Schick and Phillip Oscar Rayman on June 29, 1932. Marilyn married John "Jack" A. Johnston, Jr. on June 12, 1949 in Lafayette and he preceded her in death on November 13, 1987. She was a stay at home mother and homemaker, who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Read More	Marilyn June Rayman Johnston, 83, of Lafayette, IN died at 8:12 a.m., on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at Mulberry Health Center. She was born in Lafayette to the late LoDema Harris Rayman Schick and Phillip Oscar Rayman on June 29, 1932. Marilyn married John "Jack" A. Johnston, Jr. on June 12, 1949 in Lafayette and he preceded her in death on November 13, 1987. She was a stay at home mother and homemaker, who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Marilyn and Jack both enjoyed bowling and playing cards with family and friends. She was someone that family members could come to if they ever wanted to know someone's birthday, wedding date, or date of death. She spent many hours creating Counted Cross Stitch pictures for her family and friends. She most definitely loved her yearly vacations to Wisconsin to visit with family and enjoyed visiting the casinos with them. She is survived by 3 daughters, Linda Rupp and Jacqueline (Tip) Jordan of Lafayette, and Ruth Rhymer of West Lafayette;, 2 sons, Russell (Barbara) Johnston of Attica and Lyle (Lisa) Johnston of Williamsport; and a brother, Paul Rayman of Montrose, CO. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. There are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and sister-in-law's of which she was very fond of. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Joyce Johnston House; a son, John A. Johnston III; 2 grandsons, Jonathon Furr and Keith House; and 4 brothers, Joseph, Cornelius, Phillip, and Melvin Rayman. A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Fisher Funeral Chapel. Funeral Services will follow at 7 p.m. A private burial service will take place at West Point Cemetery.
