Description	:	ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - Marilyn Nichols Laurendeau, 71, passed away unexpectedly on March 23, 2018. She was the daughter of Clarence Messer Nichols and Eva Morse from Starks, Maine. She was raised by her brother Bob Nichols and his spouse, Blanche Nichols, in Anson, Maine and graduated from Madison Area High School. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - Marilyn Nichols Laurendeau, 71, passed away unexpectedly on March 23, 2018. She was the daughter of Clarence Messer Nichols and Eva Morse from Starks, Maine. She was raised by her brother Bob Nichols and his spouse, Blanche Nichols, in Anson, Maine and graduated from Madison Area High School. For several years, Marilyn worked at Dexter Shoe Company in Skowhegan, Maine. She then graduated from Kennebec Valley Technical College with a degree in Business Administration. After meeting her husband Ray, she moved to Burlington, Vt. and began to work at Staples. They then moved to Ocala, Fla. where she continued working at Staples while also obtaining her real estate license. She then decided to take a different career path with Walgreens. She continued this career when she moved to St. Augustine, Fla. This would be her final move. She loved watching Nascar, watching football, and enjoyed visiting the beach to listen to the waves. Marilyn is predeceased by her husband, George (Ray) Laurendeau, her brother, Bob (Nick) Nichols, and her sister, Marge (Kickie) Cates. Marilyn is survived by her sister Barb (Carl) Hutchinson and brother Raynie (Jeanne) Nichols. She was also predeceased by her daughter, Lisa Nason, and son, Patrick Nason, Jr. Her surviving children include her daughter Michelle Nason and partner Buddy Hand, daughter Angela Obert and partner Brad Chipman, daughter Bethany Theriault and her partner Corey Cormier, and daughter Tiffany (Nigal) Burchell. She adored her grandchildren: Michelle, Misty, Mindy, Jerica, Christian, Ashlie, Sierra, Shania, Shaina, Kristina, Joseph, Payge, and Izayah. She also had several cherished nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren. Marilyn's family will be holding the burial at Forest Hill Cemetery in Madison, Maine. She was an inspiration to all and will be missed dearly by her family and friends. (Central Maine Newspapers 5/11/2018)
