Description	:	Obituary Marion A. Kreimeyer, age 94, of Hampton, died on Saturday, February 28, 2009 at the Franklin General Hospital Nursing Facility in Hampton. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the St. Peter's U.C.C., rural Geneva with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 P.M. Tuesday at the Sietsema Funeral Home of Ackley. Marion Augusta Kreimeyer was born on July 18, 1914 in Ackley, Iowa, the daughter of George and Rose (Hackrott) Van Eschen. She was united in marriage to John Richard Kreimeyer on July 29, 1935 at St. John's United Church of Christ in Ackley. John and Marion farmed the family farm in rural Geneva until their retirement at which time they moved into Geneva. Marion was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ in rural Geneva where she enjoyed participating in Women's Fellowship, taught Sunday School, sang in choir as well as doing solos and small group vocals. She was a 4-H leader, participated in many Farm Bureau Activities and a member of the Franklin County Historical Society. Most of all she will be especially remembered for her homemade bread which she made for family gatherings and friends. Marion is survived by her daughter, Rita Diemer of Geneva; a son, Ronald Kreimeyer of Geneva; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Margaret Burmester of Hampton; and a brother-in-law, Victor Kreimeyer and his wife, Roxa of Quincy, WA.
