Description	:	LINCOLN - Marion P. Wilson, 90, wife of the late Woodrow Wilson, passed away Jan. 15, 2009, at a Lincoln health care facility. She was born Feb. 15, 1918, in Lincoln, the daughter of Florence (Neal) and Hartwell A. Phinney Sr. Marion was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She spent many hours as a hospital volunteer. Marion was a quietly religious woman, who through the years, collected boxes of clippings and teachings of God. Wilson, 90, wife of the late Woodrow Wilson, passed away Jan. 15, 2009, at a Lincoln health care facility. She was born Feb. 15, 1918, in Lincoln, the daughter of Florence (Neal) and Hartwell A. Phinney Sr. Marion was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She spent many hours as a hospital volunteer. Marion was a quietly religious woman, who through the years, collected boxes of clippings and teachings of God. She also had a little known hobby, one of photography, which has left her family with hundreds of photos for her family to enjoy for generations to come. Her grandchildren often speak of their 11 p.m. snacks of toast and hot cocoa on their many visits. She was a woman of creativity. It is with heartfelt gratitude that the family thanks each and every one who touched the life of our mother with compassion, love and patience during her nearly five years at Colonial Acres and the Rev. Dr. Bruce Young for his continuing support. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by two sisters, Viola Hall and Merle Phinney Larlee; and a brother, Hartwell Phinney Jr. She is survived by two daughters, Suzanne and Lowell Thurlow of Bath and Connie and William Hinkley of Brunswick; two grandchildren, Elizabeth and Steve Jalbert, and David C. Thurlow; two stepgrandchildren, William F. Hinkley and Amy Winter; three great-grandchildren, three great-stepgrandchildren; a sister, Lillian and Ronald Boone of Lincoln; a brother-in-law, Durwood and Judy Wilson; a sister-in-law, Marie Harding, all of Lincoln; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held in the spring at Lincoln Cemetery. (Clay Funeral Home on-line)
