Mrs. Post passed away at the Big Timber Rest Home where she had been a patient for several weeks about 8 o'clock last Thursday evening. She had been suffering with a liver ailment which affected her heart. Rev. J. D. Lindley officiated at the services, with music by Mrs. Ted C. Busha and Mrs. Chas. Nicholson who sang, "The Old Rugged Cross' and "No Night There", accompanied by Mrs. Mervin Sell at the organ. The Order of Eastern Star also held a service at the chapel. Pallbearers were Norman Hale, Clyde Davis, William Churchill, Roy Webber, and Donald and Oscar Smart of Harlowton. Interment was in Mountain View cemetery. Mrs. Post was born Sept. 19, 1881, at Cuba, Kan., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Goff. She later lived in Wyoming, Wisconsin, and Oregon. In October of 1899, she was married to Ross Hosilton at Baker City, Ore. They were later divorced. She was united in marriage to Elmer Budd, Aug. 19, 1903, and they resided on what is now the Spring Creek Mink ranch on the Boulder. Mr. Budd passed away in September of 1938. She was then married to Judson Post Sept. 16, 1939. About two years later they moved to Big Timber. Mr. Post died Nov. 6, 1946. Mrs. Post had made her home here since. Mrs. Post was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren church and the Eastern Star lodge. Survivors include: One son, Roy Budd of Anaconda; three grandchildren Mrs. Shirley Bacon of Billings, Joe Budd and Donald Budd of Anaconda, and six great-grandchildren.
