Description	:	Marion married Horace Raymond Greenleaf on Dec 24, 1919 in Laconia, NH. He was the son of Horace and Gertrude E. (Mudgett) Greenleaf of Holderness. In 1920 Marion was living in Portland Maine, age 19 with her husband Howard R. Greenleafe age 23 who was a chauffeur. She died at the Plymouth Hospital at age 22 and 9 mos and 27 days from a cardiac embolism after an operation. Burial was on April 30, EG Gammons, underakers. Added by BL Flanders: Mrs Marion J Greenleaf passed away at the Plymouth Hospital last week, Friday evening. She had been operated upon for appendicitis and was improving. Her death was unexpected. Her body was brought here to the home of her parents, Mr and Mrs George Flanders. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Flanders home with Reverend Mr Giradet as officiating clergyman. The bearers were Lawrence Spaulding, Harry Gingras, Sam Gammons and Milton Shepard. There were many handsome flowers. Burial was in Green Grove Cemetery. Mrs Greenleaf was born in Ashland July 21, 1900, and was one of the most popular young ladies in town. She was a graduate of Ashland High School in the Class of '18. She married Howard Greenleaf of Holderness who survives her. She is also survived by her mother and father and three brothers, Roy, Charles and Lawrence. The Ashland Citizen, May 5, 1923, p2.
