Description	:	Marion Katherine Rasmusson, 86, of Sutton, died Wednesday, March 1, 2006, at the Sutton Community Home. Services were 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 4, 2006 at the Hope Reformed Church in Sutton with Rev. Darrell Kingswood officiating. Burial was in the Sutton Cemetery. Mrs. Rasmusson was born December 20, 1919 to Henry and Adolphine (Griess) Rath. She graduated from Sutton High School in 1937 and from Lincoln School of Commerce. Mrs. Rasmusson was born December 20, 1919 to Henry and Adolphine (Griess) Rath. She graduated from Sutton High School in 1937 and from Lincoln School of Commerce. She was employed at Clay Center for the Farm Security Administration, Harvard Air Base during WWII, Veterans Administration at Fitzsimmons General hospital at Denver, CO, the U.S. Department of Agriculture at Geneva, NE and the Sutton Memorial Library. On May 7, 1950 she married Joseph Rasmusson of Rawlings, WY. He died on October 11, 1969. She will be remembered for her generosity, her gardening and her cooking. She was a member of the Sutton Garden Club. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Diane and Alan Beyke of Lincoln, NE; Sisters Helen Smith, Arlene Hanthorn of Sutton and Iris Schmahl of Grand Island; sister and brother-in-law Virginia and Dale Richards of Geneva; brother Tom Rath of rnral Grafton; sister-in-law Leona Rath of Sutton and numerous nieces and nephews.
