Description	:	Marion Paul Wallace, was born to Marcus (Bud)Hayden and Mary Shipley Wallace June 24. 1913, at Nodaway. He died April 7. 1997. at Alegent Health Hospital in Corning. He attended school in Nodaway graduating from Nodaway High School at the age of 16. He was married to Clarissa Anna Stalder December 31, 1933, at the Methodist Parsonage in Corning. Mr. Wallace enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1944 and served two years. He was discharged in 1946 and began working as a carpenter. Later he purchased and operated the Wallace Garage and retired in 1977. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Doris Wallace. Survivors include his wife; children Marjorie (husband Harold) Voggesser, Maryville, Mo., Ronald (wife Mary) Wallace, Elsberry, Mo., and Marilyn (husband Pat) Hollinrake of Corning; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Services were held April 10 at the United Methodist Church in Corning with the Rev. Richard Layman officiating. Burial was in the Nodaway Cemetery at Nodaway. Casket bearers were Bob Gregory, John Rahoy, Adam Hollinrake, Fred Simuicik. Mike Phillips, John Hollinrake and Ryan Hollinrake. Honorary bearers were Jamie. Josh, Jud, Janette, Erin, Jason, Carolyn, Jeff, Joseph, Jan, Elaine and Jill. Memorials are to the United Methodist Church Building Fund and Camp Sunnyside for Crippled Children Adams County Free Press, Corning, Iowa, April 17, 1997
