Description	:	Marcus Hayden “Bud” Wallace, resident of Nodaway 57 years, died of a heart attack early Monday morning at his home in Nodaway. He was born at Tower Hill, Illinois, January 2, 1876 and was 67 years old at his death. His father died when he was only 5 years old and he moved with his mother to Nodaway in 1886, where he grew to manhood and made a home for his mother until her death in 1908. Read More	Marcus Hayden “Bud” Wallace, resident of Nodaway 57 years, died of a heart attack early Monday morning at his home in Nodaway. He was born at Tower Hill, Illinois, January 2, 1876 and was 67 years old at his death. His father died when he was only 5 years old and he moved with his mother to Nodaway in 1886, where he grew to manhood and made a home for his mother until her death in 1908. He was married April 28, 1900 to Mary Shipley of Nodaway and to them were born two children, a son Marion and a daughter, Doris, who died twelve years ago. Besides his wife and son, he leaves two grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Matilda Rittger of Hinton, Illinois and Mrs. Dell Hyde of Hopkins, Missouri and a brother, S. J. Wallace of Nodaway. MR. Wallace was a member of the Methodist church where he served several years as Sunday School Superintendent and as a member of the board of trusties. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. in the Methodist Church in Nodaway conducted by the pastor, Rev. H. B. Kishnough. The singing was by Roy B. Means, Martin Taylor, Mrs. Harold Everett, and Mrs. Ray Dismukes, with Mrs. Martin Taylor at the piano and the pall bearers were Frank Arnost, Fred Carthers, Tate Taylor, Floyd Agnew, and Art Andrew and Emery Cramer.
