NELSON PASSED AWAY FRIDAY Died At Johns Hopkins Hospital In Baltimore Funeral Services Sunday Morning The circle of one of the largest families in Lawsonia, a suburb of Crisfield, was broken on Friday of last week by the death at Johns Hopkins Hospital, in Baltimore, of Mrs. Marion Sadie Nelson, wife of Mr. Emory Nelson. Mrs. Nelson had been suffering with a complication of diseases for several months and had been treated several times at different Baltimore hospitals. She was the daughter of the late John Washington Tyler and Jennie Marian Cullen Tyler. Mrs. Nelson was 44 years of age. She was a useful figure in her neighborhood, devoted to her church, a good neighbor, and her passing is sincerely regretted by the people of her community. Her remains were brought to Crisfield on Saturday and prepared for burial at the Bradshaw Funeral Parlors, after which she was removed to her home in Lawsonia. Funeral services were held on Sunday morning at eleven o'clock from Asbury Methodist Church, with the pastor, Rev. J. T. Rowlenson, officiating. Burial was in the family lot in the Asbury cemetery. The pall bearers were members of the Adult Bible Class. The profusion of beautiful floral pieces sent of the funeral and the large attendance at the church attested to the high regard in which she wad held by all who knew her. Besides her husband she is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Catherine Betts, of Baltimore; Mrs. Jean Tyler, of Princess Anne, Mrs. Violet Cook and Miss Sarah Ann Nelson, of Lawsonia. Two sons, Emory, Jr. and John K. Nelson live with their father. One sister, Mrs. Fannie Nelson, of Crisfield; two brothers, Howard and Russel Tyler, of Lawsonia; and one grandchild, Rebecca June Betts, daughter of Mrs. Catherine Betts, also survive.
