Description	:	Marion William Speck second child and first son of Benjamin and Viola (Becker)Speck was born & raised in Eight Mile Precinct of Cass County near Plattsmouth, Nebraska. Married to Clara Mae Taylor during the 1940 war years, their immediate family consisted of one beloved daughter Bonnie Jean (Speck) Moss. During his youth on the farm he learned the correct ways of labor intense farming from his father. He was known to pick & husk corn aside horse drawn wagons in the family fields with his dad & brothers always testing themselves to the hard labors of that difficult era. ... After the military service in World War II they lived in Omaha. Uncle Bud worked as a carpenter in the city most of his life there. His work was always said to be very accurate & refined. He was a good man and carried a deep love for his Mother & Father. Uncle Bud was ill late in life but always near his family. He will always be greatly missed by the members of our family. MJA
