Description	:	Marjorie A. Mischke, 91, of Sioux City, formerly of Crofton, Neb., died Friday, April 18, 2008, at Sunrise Retirement Community in Sioux City. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church in Yankton, S.D., with the Rev. Dean Trapp officiating. Burial will be in Frankfort Cemetery northwest of Crofton. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. today, with a video tribute and time of sharing at 7 p.m., at Wintz & Ray Funeral Home in Yankton. Visitation will resume one hour prior to the services Tuesday at the church. Marjorie was born on Nov. 4, 1916, in rural Crofton, Neb., to Charles and Edna (Avenell) Sage. She attended West Blyville Grade School in rural Crofton, and then attended Crofton High School. After high school, Marjorie kept house for the John Mischke family, where she met her future husband, Arnold. They were married on Nov. 20, 1937, at EUB Methodist Church parsonage in Frankfort, Neb. After their marriage, they farmed northwest of Crofton and together raised five children. In 1999, she moved to Sioux City, to be near her daughter. Marjorie was a lifetime member of EUB Methodist Church and Ladies Aide. She loved singing, gardening, growing flowers and making crafts. She was a wonderful cook and was known for her pies and homemade bread. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Survivors include five children, Janice Smith of Sioux City, Charles (Sandi) Mischke of Worland, Wyo., Darrel (Vicki) Mischke of Gowrie, Iowa, Warren (Pat) Mischke of Dayton, Wyo., and Ron (Renetta) Mischke of Sheridan, Wyo.; 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Duane (Lois) Sage of Bloomfield, Neb.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arnold on March 16, 1998; a sister, Hazel Holtz; and a son-in-law, Don Smith.
