Marjorie was born June 23, 1912 in Salem, IA. She was a Graduate of William Penn University and a teacher for many years, getting her start in a one room school house. Marjorie is survived by her son Erick (Kimberly Gooch) Apland; her grandchildren Ann (Tony) Guzman, Todd (Sara) , Barry (Kim), Scott, and Anthony (Chelsea) Apland and 11 great grandchildren.
