Pallbearers were Lester Ernster, Bob Etzel, John Gear, Howard Norgaard, Don Large and Bob Seeve. Ushers were Leo and Otto Lange. Vocal selections were sang by Alice Hagler and Leila Willian accompanied by Mrs. Harold Wind, organist. Interment was in Riverview Cemetery at Savage. Marjorie Ann Spithoven was born Jan. 28, 1914 at Savage, daughter of Charles and Hattie Stallman. She was raised in the Savage community and graduated from Savage High School in 1932. In the fall of 1932 she and Roy Herigstad were married at Glendive. The couple lived in the Savage community until Roy's death in November 1948. Marjorie and Jack Spithoven were married on March 23, 1950 at Sidney and have lived and famed in the Savage community since then. Marjorie died unexpectedly April 20 at Community Memorial Hospital in Sidney shortly after being stricken at home with a heart attack. She was a member of first Lutheran Church in Savage. Surviving her are: her widower, Jack, Savage; one son, Donald, Roy Herigstad, Seattle, Wash.; one sister, Mrs. Landin (Marian) Bergstedt, Savage, and one grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and first husband.
