Description	:	Roy Herigstad, son of Mr. and Mrs. Nils Herigstad, was born on February 27, 1909 at their farm home north of Savage. He passed away in the Sidney hospital on October 31, 1948, as a result of injuries sustained from an automobile accident, which occurred on the highway just south of Sidney, Oct. 26, 1948. He passed away in the Sidney hospital on October 31, 1948, as a result of injuries sustained from an automobile accident, which occurred on the highway just south of Sidney, Oct. 26, 1948. He spent his childhood at the family farm home and attended grade school at the Midway school. In 1933 he was united in marriage to Marjorie Stallman and to this union one son, Donald Roy, was born. They made their home on a farm near the family home. He leaves to mourn his untimely passing, his wife and son, father and step-mother, two sisters, Mrs. Walter Kaiser of Colville, Wash., and Mrs. Leo Kappel; one half brother, Helmer Herigstad of Miles City and several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. His mother preceded him in death; having passed away when he was a young boy. Funeral services were held in the First Lutheran church of Savage. Forrest Walters, student pastor, officiated. The body was laid to rest in the Riverview Cemetery at Savage.
