The services today for Mrs. Anderson were held in the St. Benedict's Catholic Church at 11 a. m. The Rev. William P. Mullen had charge of the rites. The Rosary was prayed for Mrs. Anderson Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, Jan. 3 and 4, at 8 p. m. at the Steine Funeral Home. Burial was in St. Benedict's Cemetery, with the Steine Funeral Home having charge of the arrangements. Honorary pallbearers were Dean Colby, Erling Kuntson, Earl Marsh, Harold Spillman, Virgil Spalding, Harold Grimstad, Clyde Taylor and Thurst Kjome. Serving as active pallbearers were Wayne Osmundson, Kenneth Bjerke, Isadore Meyer, Paul Hardy, Clayton Haugen and James Alm. Organist for the services was Allen Sensor. Maureen Nolan was the soloist. Marjorie Berry Anderson was born Dec. 26, 1912 at Belle Plaine, Iowa, to Frank and Eunice Berry. Her father is not living. Her mother, Mrs. Eunice Berry, lives in Mason City. Mrs. Anderson attended the parochial and public schools at Mason City and was graduated from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing there. On Sept. 14, 1935, in Holy Family Church, Mason City, Marjorie Berry was married to Maynard J. ("Andy") Anderson, son of Mrs. Hans Anderson, who lives in Mason City, and the late Hans Anderson. Marjorie Berry Anderson is survived by her husband and by two sons, Larry P. Anderson, Denver, Colo., and David Anderson, at home. An infant son and her father and one sister preceded Mrs. Anderson in death. Mrs. Anderson lived in Mason City until September 1939 when she came to live in Decorah. She was a member of St. Benedict's Church and belonged to the Sacred Heart Study Club and the Rosary Society of her church. She was a member of the Winneshiek County Nurses Association. Besides her husband, two sons and her mother, Mrs. Anderson's survivors include two grandchildren and one brother, Robert Berry, Mason City.
