She was born February 23, 1924, in Sheldon, Missouri, the daughter of the late Joseph E. and Goldie M. (Beisley) Firestone. She married Dale M. Read More	CORUNNA - Marjorie Fern Wort, 88 years of Corunna, Indiana, and a former longtime resident of Bryan, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2012, at Wesley Healthcare, Auburn, Indiana, where she had been a resident. She was born February 23, 1924, in Sheldon, Missouri, the daughter of the late Joseph E. and Goldie M. (Beisley) Firestone. She married Dale M. Wort on September 29, 1944, and he preceded her in death on May 9, 1972. Marjorie worked for Spangler Candy Company in Bryan for 36 years, retiring on April 28, 1989. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Bryan, Ohio. In her retirement, Marjorie enjoyed dancing with her companion, Harold. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dale; brother, Leon Firestone; and two sisters, Londa Josephine Firestone and Thelma Lucille Willett. She is survived by her sister, Paulene "Pat" Harden of North Highland, California; her companion of 36 years, Harold Pankop of Corunna, Indiana; two nieces and two nephews; along with many other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Marjorie Fern Wort will be held Friday, September 21, 2012, at 1 p.m. in the Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 206 N. Lynn St., Bryan, Ohio, with the Rev. Becky Schofield Motter officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Home Cemetery, Hicksville, Ohio. Visitation for Marjorie will be held Friday, September 21, 2012, from 10 a.m. until noon in the funeral home. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to the Hicksville American Legion Post 223 Ladies Auxiliary.
