Description	:	Funeral services for Marjorie June Bradley, 79, formerly of Clermont, Manchester and Newton will be held Thursday, July 23 at 11 a.m. at West Clermont Lutheran Church. The Rev. Dwight Albers will officiated. Interment will take place at a later date at the West Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Schutte-Grau Funeral Home in Clermont one hour before the funeral Thursday. Bradley died Saturday, July 18 at her daughter's home in Hudson, surrounded by her children, following a brief battle with cancer. Marge was born June 1, 1930 in Fayette Co, Iowa, to Carl and Grace (Helmer) Westpfahl. She was baptized at West Clermont Lutheran Church in Clermont. Marge graduated from Clermont High School in 1948, where she played the bass drum in the band and was on the basketball team. Following graduation, Marge moved to Chicago, Ill. with two sisters. While living in Chicago, she met her future husband, Charles Bradley. They were united in marriage April of 1949. Five children were born to this union. Marge was active in her local church and scouts. Charles passed away in 1970. Marge continued working at Walgreens in Chicago until 1975 when she moved to Manchester with Linda & Roger to manage the Sleepy Hollow Motel. While living in Manchester she was active in the First Lutheran Church. In 1993 she moved to Newton and remained there until her death. In Newton she was active in RSVP and received a volunteer award. Survivors include her 7 grandchildren: Dan Bradley, Chris Bradley, Stephanie Bradley, Kim Bradley, Jake Bradley, Jenny Paul, and Kathy Paul; four children: Chuck (Bobbi) Bradley, Elgin Ill; Jeff (Kathy) Bradley, Mt. Prospect, Ill; Linda (Dave) Paul, Hudson; Roger Bradley, Iowa City; siblings: Lorraine Miller, Oshkosh, Wisc., Ken (Ruth) Westpfahl, MO; Ruth (Ken) Amundson, Clermont; Bert (Joyce) Hiawatha; Betty (Dale) Freeman, Cedar Rapids and Dick (Barb) Westpfahl and her faithful friend, Tag.
