She was born Feb. 28, 1933, in Humboldt, the daughter of Malcolm and Emma Minnie Huffmaster McNeal. She attended Scotland and Prairie View schools and was a 1950 graduate of Humboldt High School. While in high school, she worked at a self-service grocery. She was born Feb. 28, 1933, in Humboldt, the daughter of Malcolm and Emma Minnie Huffmaster McNeal. She attended Scotland and Prairie View schools and was a 1950 graduate of Humboldt High School. While in high school, she worked at a self-service grocery. She was a homemaker, and worked 13 years in janitorial services for the post office in Shidler, and also cleaned for First Baptist Church there. She retired in 1993. She had lived in Shidler since 1955, and was a member of the Lutheran church there. She married Richard Lee Hosack in Las Cruces on Aug. 30, 1952, and he died Nov. 28, 1982. She also was preceded by a brother, Harold McNeal. She is survived by three sons, Richard of Shidler, Michael of Iola and Timothy of Shamrock, Texas; four grandsons and two great-grandchildren. Graveside services were at Monday at Mount Hope Cemetery, Humboldt, with the Rev. Dave Meier officiating. Grace Memorial Chapel of Ponca City, Okla., was in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the American Legion Children's Home, 1300 Summers Place, Ponca City, OK 74604.
