She was born November 14, 1924 in Sidney, Iowa. Marjorie worked at Haviland Swanson in Lincoln, NE. She was a member of the Hospital Volunteer Auxiliary in Danville, IL. Marjorie was a member of St. Clements Catholic Church in Boonville, IN. She was a dedicated mother and wife. She enjoyed sewing, crafts and baking. Marjorie was preceded in death by her brother, Sidney Reade II. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Marvin Sobotka of Boonville; sons, Roger Sobotka (JoEllen) of Newburgh and David Sobotka (Cheeba) of Evansville; daughters, Catherine Webb and Nancy Schneider (Jerry) all of Newburgh; grandchildren, Maggie Sobotka, Jordan Sobotka, Jada Cruz, Katlin Sobotka, Madison Sobotka and David Andrew Sobotka; great grandchild, Celina Marie Finch; nephew, Sidney Reade III of Ft. Collins, CO; niece, Cynthia Holt-Busch of Mentone, CA; and sister-in-law, Nadine Reade of Ft. Collins, CO. Mass will be 10AM Tuesday, Dec 22, 2009, at St. Clements Church, 422 E. Sycamore, Boonville, IN, officiated by Rev. Lowell Will, with burial at later date. There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Clements Building Fund.
