Description	:	Son of Wilbur Byron Sommer and Luciel Conyers Sommer Mark David Sommer, 57, of North Platte, passed away June 3, 2010, at his home.He was born Jan. 14, 1953, in North Platte, to Wilbur Byron and Luciel Conyers Sommer. He graduated from North Platte High School in 1972, and spent his entire life in this community. Mark married Lois Peters July 15, 1972, and later divorced. Read More	Son of Wilbur Byron Sommer and Luciel Conyers Sommer Mark David Sommer, 57, of North Platte, passed away June 3, 2010, at his home.He was born Jan. 14, 1953, in North Platte, to Wilbur Byron and Luciel Conyers Sommer. He graduated from North Platte High School in 1972, and spent his entire life in this community. Mark married Lois Peters July 15, 1972, and later divorced. He was a fireman in North Platte for 21 years, from 1974 until he retired in 1996. Mark especially enjoyed teaching school children about fire safety. Through the years, he and Sam enjoyed Boy Scouts together. Mark was truly a craftsman. He remodeled his family home, built a handicap duplex, a home for himself and assisted many others with their construction. Mark is survived by his children. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Noel Sommer, Darrell Sommer and Ronald Sommer. A memorial service was held on June 26, at Adams & Swanson Chapel. Inurnment followed at Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens.
