To this union nine children were born. Marmer worked as a farmhand most his life. Marmer and Mary have lived in Falls City, NE. for the past several years. Due to ill health entered Colonial Acres Nursing Home in Humboldt, NE. where he has lived for the past few years. On Tuesday, May 8, 2007 Marmer passed away having reached the age of 75 years, 11 months, and 13 days. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Margie D. King and three brothers, Duane, Darrell and Milton. also 4 sister, Arzetta McCumbers, Norma Martin, Gloria Space, and Loretta King. Survivors include his wife Mary D. King of Fall City. children. Marmer D. King Jr, of Big Lake , MO. Mike D. King of Harrison, AK. Marilyn D. Arevalo of Falls City, NE. Mary D. Swift of Aurora, NE. Merwin D. King of Limon, CO. Melinda D. Elliot of Ravena, NE. Melody D. Headley of Ansley, NE. and Marilee D. Veeder of Elm Creek, NE. Hall Funeral Home of Falls City was in charge of arrangements.
