Description	:	WALNUT COVE, NC ~ Ms. Martha Ann Hill, 94, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2007. She called on Him and He answered. If her sweet smile could be any sweeter and brighter, we're sure it is today. She was born in Stokes County on May 16, 1912, to Samuel Franklin and Mary Frances Tuttle Hill. She was a homemaker all her life and was a member of Walnut Cove Primitive Baptist Church. Read More	WALNUT COVE, NC ~ Ms. Martha Ann Hill, 94, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2007. She called on Him and He answered. If her sweet smile could be any sweeter and brighter, we're sure it is today. She was born in Stokes County on May 16, 1912, to Samuel Franklin and Mary Frances Tuttle Hill. She was a homemaker all her life and was a member of Walnut Cove Primitive Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Lula Jane Hill; five brothers: Luther, Luico, John, George and Gid Hill, and by her special friend, Vester Stephens. She is survived by a sister, Mary Ruth Abbott; a sister-in-law, Nina Hill; 21 nieces and nephews, numerous great-nieces and great-nephews, each one of them very special to her. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, at Burroughs Funeral Home Chapel, with Elder Milton Gunter and Elder Vance Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Palmyra United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Stokes County, PO Box 10, Danbury, NC 27016, in memory of her sister, Lula Jane, and her brothers, Luico and John, who were greatly helped by the Stokes County Hospice in their time of need.
