J. N. Spivey died at her home in Geneva, Neb., about 4 o団lock yesterday afternoon. Funeral arrangements were not known when the Signal went to press. Mrs. Spivey痴 daughter, Mrs. W. J. Gibbs was summoned from her home at Minneapolis, Kas. For a short time before Mrs. Spivey痴 death, she was cared for by several neighbors, among them Mrs. George B. Nicholson, Mrs. Lucy Miller and Mrs. C. O. Simmon. Mrs. Spivey returned to Geneva from her daughter痴 home April 10. The Nebraska Signal 20 April 1933 page 8. Martha A. Spivey died at her home in Geneva, Neb., at 4 o団lock April 19, 1933. She was born July 25, 1848 in Crawfordsville, Ind. She was married to Jasper N. Spivey September 12, 1866 at Milan, Ill. She leaves to mourn, eight children, fourteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She had been a member of the Christian Church since 1893. The funeral took place from the Hrubesky Mortuary in Geneva Thursday afternoon, April 20, and was conducted by Rev. David Tudor. Interment was in the Geneva Cemetery.
