She was found by one of her children. Services will be held today, Tuesday, Jan 11 at the Wayne Zion Lutheran church with the Rev Harvey 0 Gilbertson officiating. Burial will be in the Wayne cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Mark, Rickels, Kyle Tapken, Steve Mysak, Douglas Rickels, Jerry Rickels and Greg Brokens. Mrs Rickels was born Jan 13, 1908, at Langworthy, the daughter of Gared and Eliza Bellings Behnken. She was educated in area schools and on Nov 24, 1924 was married to Clarence H Rickels. He preceded her in death on Feb 16, 1971. She is survived by ten children, Mrs Edwin (Velda) Brokens of Monticello, Mrs Henry (Juanita) Mysak of Springville, Russell of Olin, Virgil of Anamosa, Rex of Martelle, Mrs Harvey (Delores) Tapken of Anamosa, Mrs Gary (Donna) Joslin of Tuscon, Ariz , Merle and David of Anamosa, and Darrell of Palo, 26 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, her parents and two sisters.
